Re: body work quote good or bad?

Prepping a car for paint is the most important, time consuming, and
meticulous part of painting a car. Anyone can shoot paint. If the guy
does good work, I'd say that's real cheap. If he does mediocre work, its
still cheap. Try to look at something else that hes done to judge. Look
real closely at the paint and you'll notice the imperfections.

Cheers,
Greg Faust

I have an '86 8v Rocco. I need some body work done. Specifically, the
car has hail damage, so I need some dents "fixed" in the roof and then
some minor work on the left º panel, door, and fender. To make it
completely ready to paint, this dude wants $375. First, I know y'all
haven't seen my car. Second, I went in there wearing a dress shirt and
a tie. What do y'all think? Could this be a reasonable or even a good
quote? I know body work is usually "expensive," whatever that means. I
don't have any idea what to think. Thanks.
