brake line flares [non-scirocco]

Got a problem,  I just replaced the master cylinder on my
Qantum and one of the steel brake lines seems to be leaking
at the connection to the maste cylinder.  I am guessing it
is the flare on the line,  I have tightened it as much as
I could without overdoing it, and it still leaks. The lines
look good too, no rust at all.  Anybody know what I can do?
