Strut wrench

I just find the correct size socket, then I put my vise grip around the
top edge of the socket. After placing this assembly on the strut nut, you
can then insert the appropriate size allen wrench through the hole in the
socket. Works for me every time.

Somebody a while back posted how to make a cheap wrench for removing
front
struts. Could whomever did this tell me again how you did it? I will be
replacing the springs soon as I can find time and would like to have the
tool made up in advance.
