Water from Exhaust

H2O is one of the byproducts of hydrocarbon combustion. When your
car is cold, this will condense on your exhaust system. I knew
someone who replaced his exhaust 3 times in 3 years because he just
drove his car 8 blocks to work each day, and the water that was
formed never evaporated, and ate its way through the pipes in no
time. When it's cold, you will notice steam coming out of your
exhaust. That's a sign of efficient combustion. A 100% efficient
engine will only put out CO2 and H2O, so the more steam, the better
your car is burning gasoline. (perhaps not at top performance tho.)
Probably everyone here has seen a brand new shiny
car/truck/minivan/SUV/Tractor? start off at the lights and spray
water out it's exhaust. :)
