80F should'nt effect the heat of the car too much I wouldn't think, but
that is still kinda warm.

I've suggested it a few times but haven't heard if you like the idea or
have tried the chemical flush? You add a quart of flush to your coolant,
then either let it idle or better yet, go drive the car for 15-20 minutes
and let it work at whatever deposits you may have in your block. Then you
drain and flush and add just water and warm it up again (Only until its
hot) flush again. (Whatever the directions on the bottle says to do.)
I think Prestone and the like makers make the stuff. I don't know which
one works best, im sure its the same stuff in different pretty bottles.
If I were in your shoes, id try this next and see what comes out of the
cooling system. Then see how hot it runs.

What temp thermostat do you have in the car?

When its hot, is there pressure in the cooling system? (Are the hoses
firm when you squeeze them?)
