I think you mean the 2.0L 8V engine with Motronic injection? It could 
probably be converted over to run with the 16V head. You may have a hard 
time fitting the injectors though? I'm not sure though, is the size of 
the airflow meter and t-body up to filling a 2.0L 16V at 7k rpm?

If you are seriously interested in this conversion, let me know. I can 
get my hands on a 2.0L/injection etc. with only 8k miles! $1200 takes it 
home. I know someone who will be happy to burn up a custom chip for it too.
