NOS system for 16v?

I was looking at Autotechs latest on-line catalog (about a 7meg PDF file),
when I came across their NOS upgrades.  They sell what seems to be a nice
16v kit, but it's only for golf/jettas.  I assume this is because of the
Motronic ignition those cars have, which ours don't.  So how difficult would
it be to fit the Autotech 16v NOS upgrade to a CIS-E equipped car?  What
pieces of the Motronic ignition would have to be emulated?  Could an
aftermarket ignition system be used?  Could the Motronic system from
a golf/jetta 16v be fitted to the scirocco 16v?  I'm not considering this
modification right now, but it'd be nice to keep my options open. I'm sure
other people on this list might feel similar.  Opinions anyone?
