My 78 Scirocco is what started ND. I have owned it since 79 and was 
President of a local chapter of Club Scirocco (history now) and when 
they died off I started Second Generation VW club. It lasted about 
8-10 years. We use to have autocrosses, tec sessions and lots of fun 
events. Well I was a tec at a dealer (7 years) and got so much 
business from members I was forced to start ND. Installed the turbo 
back in 81 (I think) and had one of the first microfuelers as well as 
intercooled it before Callaway had intercooler options on his kits.

Anyways I had a small fender bender back in 1990 and had the whole 
car painted and then gutted the interior to start all over with a 
remodel. ( I had done it 2-3 times before) Well ND got very busy and 
grew like crazy so all my projects got put off and now it only waits 
for me to get off my butt and put it all back together. 

This brings up something else. If anyone wants to make some money and 
help me with many of my projects drop me a E-mail. I am looking for a 
person to help me with my overwhelming projects that are not getting 
done as ND has taken all of my time. The pay is not much but the 
experience is well worth it. This person has to be mechanically 
inclined and have lots of common sense. You will be working for me 
and not ND.

Yes it was a Cal car but I have the sticker that says non-cat from a 
78 non-cal car and it use to work to smog it. Now it does not matter 
as it will always have a cat anyways.
