With the engine _cold_, remove the radiator cap.  Top off the radiator
if it's low and start the engine with the cap off.  Rev the engine and
watch to see if the coolant bubbles.  If it does, you've got a blown
head gasket and the coolant is leaking into the cylinder on the intake
stroke.
