Sadly, EC has the most (Although at times incomplete, incompetent,
unresearched, poorly written, ect...) tech-ie info on VW's. Sport Compact Car
has a few good articles. Those of us that are into racing dig the "Grassroots
Motorsport" mag. it too has some really good tech-ie VW stuff. Lately i've
caught myself reading "Turbo & high Performance" mag. There's been a few
really interesting VW articles on the drag racing scene (Sure, mostly honda
stuff but interesting nontheless.) as well as general engine performance mods
on other cars. I find it interesting in how the other car makes are being
modified to gain the performance they've got.

I dont get into the european mags on VW's. Its frustrating to read an ad and
know its not feasable to call on it. (Sorry, cant afford to be put on hold on
a overseas call!) I also dont get into trying to unscramble Brittish slang and
humor into something I can understand. (Tends to read like Shakespear to me...
oh well!)

Some others here have expressed their likings of those mags. (Sorry, I dont
have the name of one. Maybe somebody will blurt up a few for you.)

Something thats a good read but yet not a mag is Greg Ravens book. (Water
Cooled Performance Handbook) Good info, although its performance oriented.

If its good stock info you want, well then, there is NO equal when it comes to
the Bently manual. Its second only to having somebody who knows whats in the
book, which is second to you knowing it yourself... right. Now, I think i've
covered it? If not, somebody will be sure to tell me so. (No doubt!)
HTH!!
