Re: Mk2 Stock sway bars

> 8v? Didn't think they had stock bars. I guess I stand corrected.

My 85 has sway bars, but I have no idea if they're stock. What's the
easiest way to measure what size you have? I figured I could use an
open end wrench, but the biggest I have is 18mm.

BTW, I was getting my snows off yesterday and got to look at the
underside of my car from a new angle. Turns out I have Bilstein's on
the rear (knew they were yellow, just never saw the name b4) so I
assume (yes, I know what happens when one assumes!) that the fronts
are Bilstein's too. Explains why the car handles so good. I just
wish the guy who had it before hadn't cut the front springs and made
it so damn low.

At least the annoying (but great in snow!) studded snows are off and
I got 4 new shoes on the car. I had to be cheap and get some "Grand
Am GTs" on it, as I'm moving 2 weekends from now and money is kinda
tight again. Even with the cheesy tires, it handles great. Fun time
again........now those 35 mph twisties that I had to slow down to 55
for can be taken at 65 or 70 again :=)
