The only time I've experienced this is in my old ITC Scirocco. I was on the
track and grossly exceeding redline, and the valves were probably beginning
to float. I don't know why your's would do this at the RPM you indicate,
though, unless it's something different like a bad mount that's just
transferring some particular frequency of vibration.
