HELP Distributor = tach + spark shorting out --HELP!!!!!!

Ok, stupid me took his car apart before realizing the Bentley was in
storage, I removed my distributor off my block, got the cap off, got
the rotor off, and removed the spring retainer on the bottom. My
bottom seal looks great but there is oil ALL over my distributor.
I need to know how to get the metal inside rotating piece off
so I can get to the wire thing ama jig in the very middle. I need
to somehow get those 3 leads out of my broken connector and
insert them in a new connector i just bought, along with a much
needed rotor and cap . Can anyone tell me how to get that rotating
piece of metal off my distributor? i figured those posts on the
bottow just pressed in and that black thing poped off but that
didn't work..ugg i really wanted to have my car put all back
together tonight

phucked?
