thanks shawn and all who responded. today i'm a proud daddy - she fired
right up and settled into a nice idle. let her warm up to normal
operating temps, and increased revs slowly to an even 2500 to get the
blood flowing.

all went well, fan kicked on when supposed to, which is good re:it's
working well with the new radiator.

one glitch - the power steering pump is making some funny noises. i
think it's the PS pump 'cause the reservoir is empty and the leak
appears to coming from the pump. in addition, the PS is out when
turning the wheel. any ideas? i'm going to refill the reservoir
tomorrow and see if it leaks anywhere.

then...onto the body work...ugh.
