I had the same problem about 2 months ago, the bearing was going and
I had no place to work on it and my tools were 2 hours away at my
former residence. I swallowed hard and took it to a local shop and
$170 later was going again. It was a rip, but I needed the car so I
guess it was worth it.

Try calling around and check prices or go the used hub route Shawn
suggested. As far as I know, you really need the tool to press it in.
I'm told some places will rent it for $20-$25 if you have the other tools
and place to do it.

As far as places to go, the only one I know that has a good rep is
Bellevue MotorSports. I live in Everett and took it to a local
garage.
