WOW! only 20mpg? In my 16v I always get at least 28mpg and on long trips I
get 30mpg easily. On my '83 8v I get 27-29mpg and that is driving at 4k
rpms doing 70mph because of my smaller tires! I got the smaller tires
because they were cheaper and because my clutch is slipping and I need to
make it through winter so I can put the new one in in warmer weather. One
mechanic I brought the car to when I first bought the car for a brake job I
didn't have time for told me that the clutch needed to be replaced RIGHT
AWAY and that he would charge $400+ for the whole job plus parts. I said "I
'll wait til it breaks =)"
