     Digifant appeared late in 1987 for 1988 -> model years.  I had it on a 
     92 Jetta, and the Idle stabilizer valve went after 20k miles.  But 
     that could have happened on CIS.  Lately, based on the age of CIS cars 
     on the road, there are alot of posts about problematic CIS.  CIS, is 
     however easier to maintain as it is a mechanical system.  
     
     Hell, the Corrado's had it so its not all that bad.  And if she is 
     just using it as a driver it should be fine.  I actually contemplated 
     switching my 87 Jetta over to it so I could add a P-Flow, Chip, and it 
     cleans the engine compartmant up nicely.  But I decided against it.

Hey!!  What can anyone tell me about the digifant injection  on later VWs
I have heard that it is VERY troublesome .  A friend was looking at a 92 Golf 
just for transportation,  so she won't be making any mods.  Did they all
come with this tpye of injection after 90 ( or thereabouts)  GTi excepted 
cause it has Motronic right??
