        Hello Scott,
        Yes I know about the weight reductions being minimal.  It wasn't me
that wanted to do the switch over.  I think that my friends would laugh at
me if I got a carbon fiber hood.  I just gave him a place to look for the
carbon fiber/ composite driveshafts/axles.  
        I still think that a fiberglass hood is much more doable and cost
effective.
