When I went in search of (with Leonard Nemoy) a front air dam I had
a hell of a time finding one. Then at a VW show there was just the front
piece of a Kamei body kit. Now this piece didn't have the sides just the
very front of the air dam. After careful and frugal (don't laugh) thoughts
I figured the easiest way to get sides for the airdam was to cut up a small
rubber trash can. If I didn't tell you this you wouldn't know that it was a
trash can that I used.
Then I was doing my usual searches and found another Kamei that was
the front airdam. I also bought that. I had to take off the air dam
because even though this was a lame winter in the North East, I was doing
more plowing than the DOT was with it.
With out it the car looks like it has buck teeth because of the
driving lights that I have.
