Re: fuel probs



It's gotta be a short some where, of course. Get out the VOM, having one with
a continuity alarm would help- the kind that beeps when it is in closed
circuit.

I'd pull the wires off the pump itself and reapply a good fuse, check the loop
for resistiance/ continuity with the power off and for voltage w/ the power
on. Probably would need some one to crank the ignition for you.

Also, with pump electricly disconected see if the fuse will blow again.

I might suspect the relay as well, Bently manuals (and others I think) have
proccedures for shunting around said relay for testing.

Quick and in a hurry, Thats what comes to mind. I gotta go 'She-who-would-be-
girlfriend' is waiting.
