Brother Mannix speaks the truth...  *Nothing* will save you if you're
constantly focused on the cones 10 feet in front of your car.  It takes
a certain (small, but definite and inescapable) amount of time for 
the process of seeing the course, processing the information, and 
commanding your limbs to do the right magical flailings - seems like
common sense, but it's probably one of the more difficult things to teach
yourself to do consistantly on the course.  Nothing else (to my knowledge)
affects my times as much as how well I concentrate on looking ahead.

ps. Don't listen to me too much; I've only been doing this for a year.
