Re: Timing Questions. smooshed valves



which leads me to ask, do the valves collide or the piston come up 
and hit the valves? I thought it was the latter, and if so why didn't 
VW go with a pointy piston or something that would allow the valves 
clearance at any position of the piston? Is it physically impossible 
to make such a piston in a 16v setup?

with a slightly leaky water pump and is looking for an electric p/s 
pump...
