Hard clutch.

And I'm not talkin' a good grip! :)

When I bought my baby, the clutch seriously made my foot hurt after about
30 minutes of city driving... what ended up being the apparent problem was
that the actual clutch cable was angled wierd...

YMMV, but I zip-tied the clutch cable to one of the hoses behind the
cable, forcing it to tilt back towards the firewall. This resulted in a
50% reduction in how hard I had to press.

I'm sure the real problem is a worn cable. ;)

|My 16v Scirocco Clutch peddle is a beast to push down. Anyone whom I
|have allowed to drive my car is amazed at the pressure necessary to
|clutch it. In fact after driving the Scirocco daily for more than I
|week I have to switch to one of my more gentle clutch peddle cars, as

|Hydraulic (I hate Hydraulic) so thats like pressing air. It is a self
|adjusting cable, which I will be replacing very soon.

|My observation.
