On speed sensitive vibrations, you gotta suspect wheel balance first. You
could also have an out of round wheel/tire or a tire that is separating
itself from within. (I had this happen to me on the freeway. it looked
like an egg when I stopped. I thought for sure I had a blown tire.)
Then it gets complicated with the possible culprit being a torn CV boot
(uneven grease displacement in the boot), Bad or worn CV joint, rotors,
and the long shot, )but its happened) a bent axle.
HTH!
