spark plug wires

I was considering getting new spark plug wires for my 88 16v and I wanted
to know what some of you guys recommend.  My thoughts...8mm bosch or
neuspeed.  In EC they had a 16v scirroco project where they did the wires
and I think some sort of spark advance/amplify or something do you guys
remember what stuff it was besides the nology wires.  I read some letters
on the list about the nology being terrible, but what about with the
spark advance/amplifly thing-a-ma-bob?
