Any more than that, the need will head closer to the "RED" zone.
Kinda sucks that I have to keep my eye mainly on that guage whenever I'm
driving anywhere, and God forbid that I should approach 75 or 80 mph.... >>

Have you added or is there any kind of front spoiler/airdam on the car that
is not stock? When I added my Kamei airdam to my '78, the instructions
warned about high oil temperatures due to reduced airflow under the car. The
Kamei's has a rectangular slot which is offset to the passenger side. This
slot is to be cut open if oil temps. get too high. Even on the shorter
spoilers (non-S) there was a similar open slot to allow air to be directed to
the oil pan for additional cooling. I have a thermostatic oil cooler and my
oil is between 90C and 100C except on the hottest days(here in the SF Bay
Area).

Good Luck.
