Hey man, don't dis (SP?) the S logo! ;)

The Scirocco/Corrado family stands above the regular Golf/GTI family, 
hence, VW gave the early Scirocco an "S" designation, instead of the GTI 
badge. Some great cars are designated by an "S" badge... 911 "S", S2/RS2, 
Lotus Esprit "S"4, Boxster S, etc etc...
