Re: Seat question

I did that fix a while back. I took the whole seat cover off the back
because I was going to restuff it anyway. I used regular "picture
-hanging" wire. DON'T USE THIS! (We learn....) Mine broke again not
long after, even though I used several strands of wire. Now we just
pull the hinge up with one hand, and the lever on the side of the seat
with the other ;)
But, the stuffing in the seat is still fine. Definitely buy some
quality wire, whatever that may be.

It wasn't too horrible to take the seat cover off, though it may sound
so. Had the seat out of the car. I would do it again (with better
wire) if I was still driving it. I can't quite remember if the wires
were readily visible with the seat cover off, or if you'd have to dig
through some stuffing.
