Re: Front Speakers



Just to add my 0.2. I use Auto Acoustic front 6x4s. At about 80w per
speaker they are absolutely excellent in mid-high range. No need to
drill additional holes, just remove the rubber surround from the
magnets, cut them into strips and use this to seal the enclosure.
Worked wonderfully. They are powered from an Alpine 65w/channel amp
with an active crossover set to mid-high ranges. Also, they only cost
about £35 for the pair. I think they're American make too, so should
be no problem for you state-siders.
P.S. They do fit in Scirocco Mk.I doors, and Golf(Rabbit) Cabriolet's
too.
