Ryan, you got snookered! All you have to do is request (in court) to see the
calibration dated of:
1)the radar detector
2) the spedometer of the unit.

Chances are good, that one or the other was out of cal. Even so, they have
to prove that it was working properly when they got you. 

Like I said, there is a way to calculate the speed of a moving car if the
known speed of the police unit is known. With this formula, if you can prove
that the spedo they use is off by even a few miles per hour (As apposed to
what is showing and it varies from different models.) you can get them to
drop the ticket. Thats the same as being out of cal. The argument is that
the spedo is giving false readings.  
BEEN THERE, DONT THAT! 
There are just too many factors in your favor, if you know which buttons to
push.
