The standard cheap headlight adjusters at Whoozies' Fix-it shop
do depend on the molded in knobs on the lenses of US lights.
Hoerver most decent Euro car shops have specialized aimers
that work on any light. They're more expensive than the US type
aimers so you have to search to find a shop with one. 

You can also adjust yourself pretty well against a wall using the
specs in the Bentley book.
