Hey Chris and all.  I finally have an opinion on cams because I got to drive
my friends 16v Scirocco (read: my 8v handles great) which has Eurospec 268
deg cams in it.  This is a nice cam set I must say.  The bottom end is all
there as far as I could tell and over four there was quite a pick up!  What
ever you do don't get the 260 deg cams.  You might as well buy a Euro intake
cam which will give you the same results.  If you want creaming top end get
a 276 deg set.  I would only do this with a higher displacement engine
though to make up for low end loss.  When I get my cams I'm not settling for
anything less than Eurospec or Schrick.  Depending on how good a price I can
come up with.  Hope this helps.  BTW they are both going to run about $800 -
$1000 dollars.
