If your temperature gauge is reading within normal range, I can probably
tell you what's wrong because I've had the same thing happen to me.  The
electrical sensor/sending unit attached to the top of your coolent expansion
tank is either bad or had a poor electrical connection.  Clean the contacts
and try it again or replace it.  It's not very expensive and it's really
easy to replace.
