Dauns ride eargerly awaits a very nice thrashing on the dyno. It showed much of it's 200,000+ miles. Cathy Boyko's 2L 16v Slegato. Love that cool blue / silver color.
Cathy had just dyno'd her ride weeks ago, so she skipped it this time...next year maybe? Note White Cat lights. Dauns car, trembling with fear...ha!

Spin em up! We tuned it a bit, and a little more timing seemed to help the low end, but destroyed the high rpms. Josh's car getting strapped down and ready for some runs.

Jim pumping up his tires a bit for an attempt to reduce rolling resistance. We had high hopes for this modified 1.8L 16v, but we had the cam timing too far retarded. This cost low end power.
Watching the results in real time with a dyno-side monitor.

Brett & Jim making some adjustments...probably should have adjusted the cams, as the Kent 258's should have run stronger at the low end.

Jim, obviously asking himself what he's gotten himself into. :) Jason Camissa's car taking a run.
Making some adjustments between runs...we tried adjusting the fuel mixture, but it did not make much of a difference on Jasons setup.

Hanging out inside between runs. Julie's daughter (sorry, name?), Marc P., and Cathy B.
Taking in the sun outside relaxing between runs...Renard (Peace), Arms, Josh, Daun, and Julie. Floors eye view of Brett's car on the dyno rack.
Renards 2L 16v GLI on the dyno.

Front shot of Renards GLI.

Jason Camissa's 2L 16v after we finished up...in the evening I might add. Triple threat. :-)
Triple threat, V2. This is what the east coast is capable of doing to a Mk1...beware! :-) Triple Mk1's again. There are not enough of them left around here...Now, let's go cause trouble at the Buffalo Galleria Mall!
Jason & Sara Arms, Renard in the corner, and Camissa playing with crayons at Jack Astors. I'm reading Joshs mind...ewwww!
