Brett's Dyno Plots 2001

1. Best 4th gear run of the day, just over 150hp peak

 2. All gear (1-4) run through, same engine tune as run in box 1 to the left.

 3. Last years 4th gear run overlay'd with this years 4th gear run from box 1 above. Note weaker low end and midrange, but stronger high end. This came primarily from different cam-to-engine timing. Instead of several degrees of cam advance like I was running last year, I ran some cam retardation. You can clearly see from the overlay'd curves where the power 'rocks' around a certain rpm.

Also, these are 'only' Schrick 260 cams.

4. Last years all gear run overlay'd with this years all gear run from box 2 above. Note that where it matteres, shift to shift, the engine pretty much was in the power band at the tall end of the rpm range. This indicates the redarded cam timing makes the car much faster in a sprint, but slower in mid-range driving. Interesting trade-offs, eh? Oh, the dyno operator missed the 1-2 shift for a second or so during this years all gear run.
