Jetroninc Brains

Could an ECU in anyway hender the consuption of gas? In otherwords make gas consuption higher and less efficient?

IIRC the 82 did not have a WOT switch were the 84 did so they might be different.
If your box is PN 321 906 263B then you're in luck since that is the box used in the later 8V Sciroccos.
If your box is PN 035 906 263F then the later box may not work.
