OT A2 headlight adjuster assembly

yep there are 3 of them.  The one that get's me 1st is the adjuster with the 
little nylon ring that is "supposed" to go over the nylon adjuster after you 
push it thru the hole?  feels like I'm going to snap it if I push too hard.
