central locking not working

I bought an '87 Jetta 16v once that had central locks but I didn't know it
for like two weeks. One day I was futzing around in the truck trying to get
some tail lights to work that didn't and I saw a ground wire that was loose
or otherwise screwy so I hooked it back up. Next time I went to lock the
car I heard that funny ppprrrrrrffff noise and realized COOL power locks!
Take a look at the ground.
