Remove the bumpers and wash them well. (removes bugs and small hondas) Use a good scrubby (red) from the autobody store to scuff the surface a bit once dry. Then a wipe down with degreaser just prior to paint 1 good spray of adhesion promoter, then coat with Bumper Black. A few steps, but it will last for years with out fading.
