List dead? ? ?

JIM!!!!! Life's too short not to drive Sciroccos!! My cousin was
given my uncle's Corvette Stingray, 60s IIRC? Anyway, it needed
restoration, and that was all done in the correct manner, it had all
the original documentation, and when it was all finished, he took it
to a show or two and then decided that he was too tense every time he
drove it. What if something happened? So what did he do? He sold it.
Now the new owner may be beating it or garaging it or hot rodding it,
but he has absolutely no enjoyment from it. I'm not leaving my car
pristine for someone else. I, for one, plan to drive it till they
take my license away. So Jim, get a MkI that you'll feel fine about
driving. In some ways one with less than perfect paint is more
relaxing to own, and car shows are just so much more fun if you know
you wouldn't win even if you spent a week detailing. Oh, when did I
drive mine last? Yesterday...can you tell???
