Cincy Date: A Poll
Hey kids, You know May 31-June 1 is Memorial weekend!?! That may "force" some of us to have to include some shorter, underage Rocco fans (man, that really puts a damper on martinis or Leinenkuegel Summer Shandys). And last time I checked, Ohio has no ocean!!! How crappy will my gas mileage be if I tote a kayak from NC to OH?!? And where is the closest warm water that that I can float in my little yacht? I HATE to miss the beach on a major holiday.
And Dave, I read your post on the 'tex. Why don't you drive a Rocco up here, and we all meet at the NC Eel Farm? I have 2 acres of open flat land, plenty of space for all sorts of VW happiness and tech procedures (ok, mostly getting Gisele to run so she can visit Cincy). Plus, it would THRILL me to no end to have several Sciroccos pull up to the local gas station and make all these Ford/Chevy (think King of the Hill) realize that Dan Snow (they have seen 2 of his roccos here) and I are not the only people who love these cars. I can even think of a road that would make some of you guys say woohoo (curves marked 25-35 mph).
