Use of foam as insulator?



Yep. I think its primary purpose is to stiffen the chassis.
My main concern is if the foam will hold water and cause rust. Of if it will simply maintain water between the foam and surrounding sheet metal and cause rust.
Water does get into these areas so it sounds like an iffy idea to me.
