That was one thirsty tranny! (sooooooooo tempting, but I won't go
there... ;D) I still can't believe you managed to make it up here
with only a half litre of fluid in your transmission! BTW, I forgot
to send you off with my extra 17mm welded bolt/nut tranny fill-plug
removal tool. LMK if you want me to mail it to you. I'd definitely
keep an eye on the fluid level until you get a chance to change out
those flange seals... BTW, further to what I mentioned if your tranny
is an 87 or newer you have the higher fill-plug and don't need to add
an additional half litre. Did the whine go away?
Glad you guys had fun in Canada! With your lagging dollar (we reached
$1.08 U.S. today!) there aren't many Americans coming up here these
days. Even the casinos are laying off people...
I'm happy I could help! I'm just passing on the kindness I've
received during my travels from others on the list (even lurkers!),
and agree with you 100%...
