fender flares for Mk1???

I beleive I tried placing them on once since I have 2 or 3 sets, maybe even
some MK1 jetta flares.  They did not work at the tips.  Scirocco fenders
curve into the car at the bottom and rabbit fenders come straight down.
Might be able to modify them to fit with heat gun and jigsaw.
