Karl, if the car is lowered (even a bit) DON'T get the sensatracs...
I put a set on a lowered Scirocco several years ago and it was very
harsh - the lowered stance eliminated the sensatrac's initial "comfort
zone" travel and was permanently riding in the stiffly valved area...
Worst suspension I've ever had on a Scirocco.

Get a set of Boge TurboGas (now a Sachs pt#). The ride is nice and
firm, without being harsh on lowered or stock springs. If you have
very heavy wheels, or stiff race springs you may want a bit more
damping, but for the average guy they're great... I don't like KYB's.
A friend of mine went through them in less than 15k, and I haven't
heard too many good things about them...

Later,

Mark.
