VW Racer - Suspension set-up?

Opps, I only put half the thought into the email :)

I was looking at a heavy spring rate up front (again those in the know pipe
in I'd love to hear oppinions) in the 500-600 range, and then a set of 400
in the rear. It seems common practice to try and balance out the
aproximate weight of the vehicle at each corner to the spring rate. At
about 1900 lbs with more weight in the front than the rear that looked like
a good starting point. But I really have to look into what kind of struts
to use with the system.

And again, would a set of sways help or hinder this setup?
