Temp Gauge

Thank you Dave.

thought with faulty gauges is always to start with the senders and wiring. I
would hate to replace the gauge and find the problem is still there due to a
broken/bad wire or a faulty sender.

Just a thought for starting points,

Dave

Subject: Temp Gauge

I've got a friend with a mk2 1.8 8v with possibly a bad temp gauge.

The resisivor is alittle above full and the fan comes on when hot.

What could be the problem? The gauge itself or something that I'm not
smart enough to figure out.

(Dave, you're aloud to speak now, you have my permission.)
