low oil pressure?

The engine was just put in. It has been on an engine stand for about 1
year. The oil is fresh (new) and we have only drove it about 20 miles after
we had it running previously. It took about 20 minutes for the lifters to
quite down when we first fired it up but that it normal as the lifters have
to pressurize themselves or what ever the heck they do. Personnally I think
that it is just the lifters and not a pressure problem but we will verify
that with a gauge this weekend. We will also get some cleaner as suggested
by Dan.
