CVO Treffen autocross love

Some listers participated in CVOs (Chicago Volkswagen Organization)
annual Treffen autocross today. Tonee Northam did the course design, it
looked rough during the course walk-through, and while it WAS a
challenging course, it was also a lot of fun. LOTS of tight stuff, with
a nice mix of quick straights. We got rain in the afternoon session,
and the lap times reflect that. If it had stayed dry I think the
results would have been a little better.

Results:
I took 3rd in A class.
Don Walter took 3rd in B class.
Tonee took 3rd in C class.
Eric Person took 2nd in D class.

Congrats to everyone, it was good to see a fairly large turn-out of
listers (there really aren't that many in the Midwest.

If anyone is AT ALL interested in autocrossing, I HIGHLY recommend you
seek out an event and participate. It's a blast, it's safe, and it's a
cheap (unless you're Tonee, that is) way to get into motorsports.
