Why would this battery with half the power crank better than the optima?
Was the large positive wire from the trunk to the front to blame?

An additional ground line, running the length of the car, is redundant;? the
car itself is one big ground.
Let's not make this overly-complicated.? :)

config cranks better than the optima in the rear did.? That is most likely
because I used the rear seatbelt bolt as the ground and did not run a
grounding line from the front to the back.
